Masarefi is an expense tracker that reads incoming bank SMS alerts on your phone and automatically turns them into categorized transactions — no manual entry, no bank API access.

Yes. The raw text of your bank messages is never stored or sent anywhere. Masarefi works fully signed out by default, with your transaction data stored only on your device — besides the optional services covered in our Privacy Policy, it makes only two limited, anonymous network calls without an account (fetching merchant logos and looking up currency exchange rates), and neither ever includes your data. Creating an account and turning on AI-assisted categorization are both optional and off by default. See our Privacy Policy for details.

If you've created an account, open Profile inside the app and choose "Delete account" — this permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers, and also removes this device's copy of it (transactions saved before you signed in are not part of the account and stay on the device). Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.
