1. Agreement

By downloading or using Masarefi ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two conflict, these terms govern to the extent Apple permits.

2. The Service

Masarefi helps you track your spending by reading bank transaction alerts and entries you add yourself. It is an informational tool. It is not a bank, a payment processor, or a financial advisor, and nothing in the app is financial advice.

3. Free Trial & Subscription

Masarefi includes a 14-day free trial on your device. After the trial, continued use requires an auto-renewable subscription, offered monthly or annually at the price shown in the app before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• "Restore Purchases" in the app recovers an active subscription on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.

4. Accounts

An account is optional; the app works fully without one. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure. You can delete your account and its backed-up data at any time from the app.

5. Optional AI Features

If you turn on message understanding, the app sends bank message text with every number removed to Google Gemini to identify the merchant and category, and - for a CliQ transfer the app could not read itself - which way the money went. That CliQ message includes the name of the other person in the transfer; amounts, balances, account numbers and dates are never sent. This is off until you allow it and can be turned off at any time. 6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, interfere with its services, or use it for unlawful purposes.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is". Amounts, categories, totals, and insights are derived automatically from messages and may contain errors. Always verify against your official bank statements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Masarefi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll update the effective date above and, where practical, note it inside the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
